Hello,
My name is Manda & I'm very new to raw. I've read books by Carol Alt, Natalia Rose, Karen Knowler & have read Angela's website quite a bit. Such an inspiring story!
I have asthma & gained 63 lbs. with my pregnancy in 2005. I've only lost 22 lbs. of that & I feel lethargic all of the time. I know I need a major change. Staying at home with kids & going to college full time is really beating me down.
I miss being thin & hate having no energy. I want to be healthy & vibrant again. This is my last hope.
I do have some concerns:
1.) Can I go raw without drinking greens? I just can't bring myself to do it. I tried it the other day & it looks like something from "The Exorcist." Just can't do it.
2.) I have 2 small kids & a husband who refuses to go raw. How do I stay motivated?
I'd like to eat fruit & drink water before noon; eat raw veggies by themselves until 7 p.m. & then nothing but water after 7. Is that a good schedule?
Is there a limit as to how much fruit/veggies I can eat in regards to weight loss?
Boy--sounds like the Grand Inquisition, eh? Too many questions!
