Hi Everyone,
I'm rettstar, I'm 34 and living in Australia, in a city called Perth.
I have been doing research lately on how to lose weight. I have a typical story like everyone else, overweight as a child, active teenager, slimmed down - got sick with glandular fever (mono), got depressed, became an emotional eater, put weight on, got fatter and fatter!
I threw out all my rice and pasta one day, in an effort to prove I could eat without adding extra carbs and not put on weight for a year. It worked, so I lost nearly 90 pounds by going on a diet program with home delivery, and regular eating (more than one meal a day).
It's been three years since my initial weightloss - which I have more or less maintained give or take 10pounds; I still have about 120 more pounds to lose. When I first started losing weight, I weighed close to 350 pounds. I am finding now that I am avoiding certain food as it makes me feel bloated, some foods make me feel sick, and I am happier eating vegetables, fish, and sometimes a little meat.
What can I expect when I move towards a more raw eating life_style_ in the way of detoxing?
My only vice really is coffee, I don't eat junkfood. I'm paranoid about putting weight on so I barely have food in the house.
I face some challenges; I am a shift worker, it's hard eating the same time of day or night! I find right now I am time poor due to sleeping, working.
I need some ideas on how does one stay adequately raw, not eating too late at night when shift working?
Long post, but hell, I'm a call centre worker and I talk alot anyways
