Hi there,
My name's Laura
I am on day 2 of my 1st juice feast.
I don't know how long I will feast for, i'm leaving it open
Here's a bit of background (if you don't mind reading!)
About 5 years ago I did a juice FAST for 7 days then later on one for 10 days then I went raw. It was amazing, I lost weight and more amazingly I lost my asthma and allergies!! They stayed lost whilst I was raw but in the last 3 years (I was raw for 2) I have gone back to cooked vegan (wheat free) and feel my symptoms coming back so it was time for another cleansing and for me to get back on the path that I know is the right one for me.
I am hoping for physical healing and also for spiritual healing as I don't feel I have let spirit back into my life since splitting with my fiance 3 years ago. I am now happy and engaged (it's not a habit I promise!) to be married in Novemeber but whilst I am happy I do not feel the joy and freedom and love like I used to when I was raw. I am hoping this will come back.
I am doing this for myself but also because I would like to become a mum next year and I want to be as healthy (in all ways) as possible before I embark upon that journey!
So I am on day 2 and feeling pretty spacey and headachy today, not awful but I feel really quite weak and tired and 'muzzy', I have had a fair few greens and 2ltrs of juice along with water and mint tea but maybe it's just beacuse i'm working through this feast (when I fasted I was at home not working).
Does anyone have any ideas of how to avoid the spacey feeling? I know I have low blood pressure normally so my BP is probably pretty low right now but I need to keep working so I hope it passes or there is a solution??....
Here's what I have had today...
Breakfast: 1 honeydew melon juiced (obviously!) (0.5ltr)
8am - mint tea
11am - juice of 1/2 pineapple with celery (0.5ltr)
1pm - 1ltr of carrot, apple, beet and spinnach juice
Any ideas about the spaceyness anyone?
Laura x
