Any recommendations on raw potions for shampoos and hair conditioners that you have tried? Right now I am using just Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps for shampoo and a vinegar rinse. I think I am going to sacrifice an avocado next shampoo and just mash it up all over my scalp, maybe with a little olive oil in the mix and just let it soak in for an hour or so under a towel.
Diluted lemon juice or vinegar make good hair rinses. They remove oil and deodorize. Baking soda can be applied dry, left on for a while, then rinsed out. It can also be applied as a paste. Honey or banana are conditioning and sweet smelling. Fine cornmeal makes a great dry shampoo, too. Apply it to the hair and scalp, leave it on to absorb oil and odor, then shake or brush it out. You can bend over the tub or get in the shower and blow the cornmeal out of your hair with a blow dryer on the cool setting, or go outside in the wind and shake your hair around. Hope these recipes help!
