This morning I woke up and knew somehow that I needed to try eating raw food. I have severe allergies at the moment. I haven't been able to smell anything at all for nearly 3 months, and unable to taste food for about 2 of those months. I usually have these allergy problems but this is something else. None of the medicines have worked for it.
Anyway, I've also been diagnosed with M.E. and fibro after a few years of becoming more and more worried about what was wrong with me. I was in agony at the start of last year and had to spend about 10 weeks flat on my back.
My body just feels all 'puffy' and swollen and irritated. I like that 'clean' feeling I get when I eat salad, and I'm hoping that if I incorporate much more of that into my life_style_ I will start to feel less inflamed.
My joints are very sore at the moment as well. The only way I can explain it is it feels like there is acid in my joints and they burn and crack.
I know that I am going to go through hell trying this raw food diet. I have an addiction to processed sugar. I used to weigh 107 kilos but now I weigh 85. I got all the way down to 73 kilos but that was only because I was so sick from the M.E. and I could hardly eat for a few months last year. When I was able to eat again I put all the weight back on.
I am going to have to detox from the sugar and that is scary but I have to give it a go because I can't live like this any more. I feel like I am 97 years old but I'm 70 years younger than that in reality.
There has to be a way to improve my quality of life which is quite abysmal at the moment.
One thing I would like to ask if people know about it - my M.E. specialist recommended I eat salt because it helps with my heart problems. It really has improved the palpitations and stuff. I still can't stand up still though or else I faint. Does salt go along with a raw food diet or not? I eat organic sea salt.
Anyway, I look forward to checking this place out

Take care everybody!
