Hi, i'm forty two years old and am morbidly obese - I have about 9 stone to lose. I am also diabetic - just recently diagnosed. I'm not really sure where and how to start - I've just cut out processed foods and feel a bit better though I still get cravings, mainly for chocolate brownies! I've also cut down on my carbs since they seemed to give me sugar rushes, and I eat wholemeal.
So, here goes, tomorrow I plan to go to the supermarket and buy something appealing like lots of cherry tomatoes, basil and some virgin olive oil to start. Maybe i'll get some mangoes - they look good at the moment - who knows. I'm looking forward to it but I'm concerned that i'll be really hungry and not know what to fill up on - but here goes ...
