Dec. 2004: The last couple of months have been very busy for me as I have been putting together a book on transitioning to the raw lifestyle for overeaters, which is going very well and I hope to have it published next year - watch out for further details. I have been updating this site as and when I get the chance, including, due to popular demand, more 'before and after' pictures on the photo gallery page. I have also been focusing very much on my personal recovery work and learning a great deal about both myself and the serious and seriously misunderstood addiction of compulsive overeating. There is much work to be done to raise awareness and understanding of this condition and the impact it's having on the ever-escalating obesity epidemic and I'm happy to do my part. Thanks again for all the lovely feedback that keeps coming in (see here), it's so rewarding to know that this site gives others hope and inspiration to change their lives too. Now the new year is upon us, I expect many will be looking for healthy lifestyle changes - for all those who are considering taking the raw food path for health and weight loss, I wish you the best of luck on your journey to Raw Reform.

Oct. 2004: Unfortunately it has not been possible for me to update this website since its inception last January, though thankfully, judging by all the lovely feedback I get (see here), the message has still been getting out there. This has been a mixed year for me in terms of raw foodism, with my experiences ranging from a disastrous Candida over-infection leading me to stop eating ALL fruit - utter agony, not to mention very dull - to attending a simply wonderful and hugely educational detox/colonics retreat with Karuna retreats, to facing my overeating patterns, to visiting the Festival of Life - a very inspiring raw food/holistic lifestyles day in London. Overall, I've come out of this mixture pretty well, still maintaining an approx. 70% raw food diet, though my fruit intake is still very limited and I feel my thyroid is rather sluggish, as my weight has not changed any more now in about a year - I am trying to work on this by including more seaweed in my diet and taking up more active hobbies, like learning Bollywood and poi dancing... Attending raw food pot lucks with other raw fooders here in Iceland has also been rewarding for me lately, realising that there are others around me going through the same things - I've begun to feel much more inspired again to go 100% raw, or somewhere near...

Feb. 2004: National British health and beauty magazine, Zest printed an inspiring 2-page article about my amazing transformation (Feb 2004 edition, pg.98) - check it out if you can find a copy. Get Fresh! magazine, published by The Fresh Network also intend to do an article on my story next January - look out for it...
