Aaaaaaaaaaah, yes, the perennial raw food question :)
Well, for me the key point to understand here is that our bodies do not use protein from 'heavy' protein sources, such as cooked meat, efficiently. Our bodies make proteins from amino acids and amino acids are most abundant in GREENS. A raw vegan diet, rich in leafy green veg, will therefore more than provide for your protein needs. If you're concerned, you can also always supplement your intake with an ultra-rich protein source such as hemp protein powder. Consider too the classic example of the gorilla, one of our closest relatives, who in the wild eats mostly greens and is a power-house of energy, muscle and strength. Greens are the key to vibrant health.
