We're Going On Tour Again ;O
I'm very excited to say that Mr. Monarch has been working away in the background to set up a new little talk tour for us in the USA, on our upcoming trip back there from August to October. We have around eight tour dates to share, all based on the we st coast, including a *VERY* exciting "International Day of Juice Feasting" in Seattle...we do hope you'll be able to join us
at one of these talks, as they are likely to be the last presentations

Three Gardening Inspirations
I have three YUMMY gardening links to share with y'all today...I received a sudden flurry of garden-related links from readers and would love to share three of the very inspiring stories with you...
1. First of all, please raise your green juices to extraordinary 11-year-old Katie Stagliano in South Carolina, who is currently running SIX different gardens, producing over 4000 pounds of fresh veggies to distribute to homeless shelters in her area...WOW...watch out for this heart-warming little dynamo, there's beautiful power in this one ;) You can read about her amazing efforts, dedication and love in an article over HERE and Katie's main site can be found at http://www.katieskrops.com - she even has grants to give out to other children who would love to start their own gardens :) Thanks so much to the lovely Courtney Pool for sharing this story :)
2. Next up in this gardening odyssey, please meet the charming folks over at "Seeds of Solidarity" in Massachusetts, who are also running some *very* cool gardening operations, welcoming local teenagers to help with the massive gardens, connecting community, co-creating a nurturing environment for the teenagers to feel more connected, setting up gardens at local schools, distributing free food to 'seniors' who don't get out to markets anymore and so on - GREAT vibe with this crew - check out their inspiring 10 minute intro video to their work called "Grow Food Everywhere", HERE:

3. Finally, let's dive into the magical world of "WindowFarms"...this one is especially for all of you living deep in the hearts of cities...meet Britta Riley, an NYC resident and founder of the WindowFarms Project, an innovative and very cool system for growing food on the inside of WINDOWS, using recycled materials...you can see a fabulous intro video on this technique HERE:

Participants *Still* Wanted: Raw/Vegan Children Study THANK YOU to those of you who have already helped with this vital study...the researchers are *still* looking for 20 more participants - can *you* help?
Here are the details again:
Our dear friends Susan and Philip Madeley from the Tree of Life center in Arizona are in the closing stages of completing their Masters programmes in Nutrition under Gabriel Cousens and they could use *YOUR* help :)
They are conducting a study into the health of raw/vegan children under the age of five, for their theses and so far they have 80 participants - they would LOVE 20 more participants...
One lovely intended outcome of this study is to provide a vegan recipe for nursing mothers and babies without access to breast milk - wow :) They have a simple survey that they are asking people to complete to help finalise this work - if you or anyone you know is a vegan parent, please hop on over to http://livingveganchildren.com and fill in the 5-10 minute survey to help support this research and important info on breast milk alternatives in challenging situations.
