Apologies for the slightly late appearance of this newsletter ? since returning to the UK in late May, many exciting shifts have been occurring, including my 4th anniversary of going raw, plenty of publicity (see HERE for article links) and the fabulous celebration of 'all things raw and beautiful' at the Food of Life festival in Brighton?read on for more details...

FABULOUS FOOD OF LIFE
June the 4th saw the first amazing Food of Life festival take place in Brighton, the city that is clearly establishing itself as the home of all things raw in the UK. It was a brilliant day ? the vibrancy was huge as visitors sampled the many superfoods and treats on offer, listened to inspiring speakers and enjoyed freshly made lush raw delicacies. For me, it was wonderful to meet so many positive people interested in this lifestyle, especially those who had seen my pictures before and felt inspired to come along to learn more. Thanks to all who dropped by my stall and to those who stayed late for my speech on Holistic Weight Loss ? I really enjoyed my first talk in Britain and already have my next UK event and more talks in the US lined up for later in the year ? see below for more details and keep an eye on the RawReform events page for updates.

RAW TRANSFORMATION WORKSHOP ? JULY 15TH, SUSSEX
Join myself, Matt Monarch and Kate Wood for an inspiring day of raw transformation in East Sussex. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to hear three experienced raw fooders speak, including Matt's only scheduled UK talk this year. Kate has over 13 years experience of living raw, including raising 3 vibrant children and running the hugely successful raw business www.rawliving.co.uk, bringing superfoods to the masses :) Matt is the author of ' Raw Spirit' and will share his perspective on how to avoid the major pitfalls of going raw by learning some key principles, along with exploring the spiritual path that often unfolds for raw foodists. I will speak about holistic weight loss on raw foods, including how to balance detox with slimming, taking care of the body naturally and breaking overeating patterns. REDUCE LOOSE SKIN WITH DRY SKIN BRUSHING
One of the main questions people ask me when beginning to lose weight with a raw lifestyle is '?what is going to happen to my skin?' There tends to be a lot of fear around this issue, especially the idea that massive weight loss will result in loose, unsightly skin hanging from the body. In my upcoming third e-book 'RawReform ? Revealing the Physical Changes' ? I discuss this matter in depth, offering many solutions to help people maintain and restore skin tone as much as possible during weight loss. A great tip for helping improve skin tone and elasticity is to dry skin brush, daily. I spend five minutes a day, maximum, firmly brushing down the body from the feet upwards prior to bathing and it does wonders to remove dead layers of skin, rejuvenate the tissue, stimulate circulation and the lymph system and give the muscles a good workout too. It is such an easy and cheap way to begin to nourish and take care of your skin ?you can buy a good quality, hard bristle brush that will last years for just $7.95 through the link on my site HERE . A dry skin brush is a simple and fantastic investment in your own health and well-being and your skin will glow with appreciation.

Best wishes and blessings to all,
Angela. x
