RAW IN NORWAY
I'm amazed. I've just finished a 10 day training course on a tiny, remote
island in the west fjords of Norway and despite whatever fears I arrived with
about what I would be eating, I have easily survived, without compromising my
food choices. Not just survived in fact, but actually thoroughly enjoyed the
experience. I am left with the inspiring feeling that if it is possible to be
100% raw vegan here, it could be possible anywhere...
There are no Vitamixes out here in the wilds to whip up exotic creations, so
this has been a real 'back-to-basics' experience and it's been great for me to
reconnect to simple textures and tastes. A real highlight for me has been to go
out picking fresh food with locals - the taste and vitality of freshly picked,
seasonal blackcurrants, blueberries and redcurrants is just beyond compare to
me. I find the whole process one of deep meditative beauty and restoration. I am
so grateful to experience this intimate connection to nature, harvesting the
bounty by hand.
One simple recipe I've used a lot here with the foods available is the
following salad:
Comfort Carrots
2 grated carrots
1 grated apple
handful of sunflower seeds
tbsp lemon juice
tsp cinnamon powder
tsp cardamom powder
Mix ingredients together and either eat immediately or leave flavours to
combine for some hours.
RAW FOOD SURVEY requires participants
Lenka Zajic, a student at the well-respected Tree of Life Rejuvenation Centre
in Arizona, is currently conducting a worldwide survey of people on living foods
diets. This survey, which is aimed at people who have been eating at least 75%
raw for 2 years, has enormous potential to reveal important trends about our
health and well-being on this path. It is hoped that at least 300-400
participants will complete the questionnaire before the middle of September -
the more data that can be collected, the more we can discover about trends in
raw nutrition and health.
The questionnaire takes about half an hour to complete and I found it quite
entertaining and enlightening to reflect on my own patterns. I hope you will
take the time to participate too if possible.
The whole living/raw foods movement stands to benefit from the results of
this research, so be sure to give yourself a big hug of appreciation for
participating.
RAWREFORM CONSULTATIONS
I now offer supported guidance for those who want to lose weight and gain
better health with a raw food lifestyle. My service is particularly aimed at
those who would like to benefit from the experience and research of another who
has travelled the same path before them.
When I started out on my own raw journey I had very little support around me
and there was a lot to learn from scratch. My wealth of experience over the last
few years now puts me in an ideal position to help others along this path,
bypassing the major pitfalls along the way. I am happy to be able to share my
experience, to inspire and motivate others.
I am currently offering affordable consultation packages including bundle
deals of one-to-one contact plus ongoing web-based support spread out over a
time scale to suit your needs.
Are you ready for natural, sustained weight loss, more energy, clearer skin
and vastly improved health? Are you ready for your own Raw Reform? If so, then contact
