RECENT COVERAGE OF RAWREFORM
Interest is undeniably growing in weight loss via the raw food lifestyle,
generating a number of recent articles about RawReform.
You can check out an article in British newspaper The Argus, here:
www.theargus.co.uk/the_argus/archive/2005/09/19/NEWS70ZM.html
and another piece in the e-newsletter of raw foodist Frederic Patenaude,
here:

Watch out too for other upcoming articles and features, especially in the
British press over the next few weeks - the tide is really rising and the
message is truly being heard at last that there is an alternative way for people
to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable manner. I feel so happy and blessed
to be part of this process.
BRAIN GARDEN - 'FAST' RAW FOOD
I have recently been introduced by a friend to the Brain Garden range of
pre-packaged raw foods and want to recommend it to people as a fantastic way to
get an abundance of raw nutrition into your diet in a quick, hassle-free form.
The range includes snack bars, pots of muesli-style mixes, freeze-dried fruits,
dehydrated soups, chowders and sauces and hearty 'trail mixes' which can all be
eaten 'on the go'. Every product contains a mixture of 24 different raw, whole
foods and you can purchase them in bulk bundles, so you always have something
available. I consider this range a valuable addition to the raw food movement,
especially as a useful stepping-stone away from diets that contain an abundance
of cooked/processed packaged food, towards a more natural way of eating. I
encourage you to check the range out online if it interests you at www.thebraingarden.com - you can use
the ID number 115242 to enter the site.
RAWREFORM FORUM
As you will have hopefully already noticed, the RawReform Forum is now up and
running and I find it wonderful to see people from all over the world coming
together to discuss their experiences around raw foods and weight loss. If you
want to participate in the discussions, just click on the Forum link and enjoy...
RECIPE:
Something I'm eating a lot of at the moment is this simple tahini-based dip:
Reuben's Dip
2tbsp tahini (ground sesame seed paste)
2tbsp miso
2tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
2 tbsp ground flax seeds
2 tsp vinegar
1tsp kelp powder
water
Mix everything together in a bowl with a fork or hand whisk, thinning the
mixture with water to the desired consistency - dip, spread or salad dressing...
This great, simple recipe is from Kate Wood's lovely recipe book, 'Eat Smart,
Eat Raw' - a collection of over 150 accessible, tasty, everyday raw recipes -
check it out here: www.rawliving.co.uk/book.php
That's all for now...best wishes to everyone and do keep the communication
flowing - it's great to hear all your stories and to connect with so many
vibrant people choosing this amazing path to better health.
Blessings to you all,
Angela. X
