RECIPES

My current favourite juice blends:

Sweet : Carrot, apple, cucumber, celery and a squeeze of lemon juice

Green : lettuce, spinach, cucumber, garlic, rocket, coriander, celery and kale

I like to try to have green juice every day now as I find it so alkalising and grounding for my body. It feels very cleansing and energising, but took a while for me to get used to - I found the taste so strong to begin with and preferred sweeter juices, cut with apple or carrot for a milder taste. I've included one of each type here as I tend to get through a lot of juice in a day right now - I find it so helpful for detoxing and find that the more I get into it, the more I enjoy it and don't even mind washing up the juicer at the moment ;)

FORUM UPDATE

The RawReform forum has been up for a few weeks now and is building up beautifully into a thriving little community of people on the same path. You can join in too by visiting the RawReform website and clicking on the Forum link. This is an ideal place to meet others for support about raw weight loss issues - hope to see you there soon.

That's all for now - stay warm and don't be afraid to warm your winter soups a little if you're getting the chills up here in the northern hemisphere - as long as you can keep your finger comfortably in the soup, you won't be doing too much enzyme damage to the food - and for those of you reading this in the summery southern hemisphere - please send us some light and sunny rays to brighten the wintery days... :)
